Kyouryuu Cyan and Gold!

Kyouryuuger is surprising me - as they are adding new Rangers, not only this early (5 to 7 episodes in), but adding two different ones - with more on the way, if I'm gauging this correctly. Not only that - but we have our first official Western Super Sentai! That REALLY took me by surprise - as you don't usually see many foreigners in Tokusatsu TV. (I wonder - wouldn't it be cool, when Kyouryuuger is adapted in America; maybe the same actor comes to portray the character again?) Now, this is all predicated on a few caveats: these Rangers are from different time periods - and might not show up as regular additional Rangers. So far, it looks like actors might portray them at first, but then later suit-actors only will portray them. Sort of a cheat - but I don't mind. I just have to wonder, how many Rangers are we looking to have in store? Which extra Rangers are going to be actual main stars? (Or, in other words, who's going to be the official 6th Ranger?)

Anyway, here are their profiles

and here are other images I'm adding to the site.

Ranger Profile: Kyouryuuger KyouryuuGold

Utsusemimaru (空蝉丸)/KyouryuuGold (キョウリュウゴールド Kyōryū Gōrudo)

Utsusemimaru is a samurai from the Sengoku period who defeated the Zyudenryu Pteragordon to forge a pact and become KyouryuuGold. His signature move is the Lightning Afterglow (雷電残光 Raiden Zankō), a secret technique of the kenjutsu Raidenken (雷電剣?, "Lightning Sword"). He fought against the Deboss Army alongside Torin until Chaos and Dogold formulated a scheme to slaughter any one with whom Utsusemimaru has been in contact with to incite him into rage. Once he'd fallen into their trap, Utsusemimaru was sealed within Dogold's body as part of Chaos's plan to control Pteragordon. Though the plan succeeded, in the present he was presumed dead and not manifested as a Spirit, but Utsusemimaru's condition was revealed as he believed that he was Dogold himself until the Raging Knight's face shattered during his fight with KyouryuuRed.

Ranger Profile: Kyouryuuger KyouryuuCyan

Ramirez (ラミレス Ramiresu)/KyouryuuCyan (キョウリュウシアン Kyōryū Shian)

"The Steel Brave" (鋼の勇者 Hagane no Yūsha)

Ramirez is an optimistic European man who became Ankydon's partner and fought as KyouryuuCyan five centuries ago who became a Spirit (スピリット Supiritto?) after death. Though ghost-like, Ramirez's nature as a Spirit allows him to manifest a physical form as long as his bond with Ankydon is maintained. However, attempting to give Ankydon to current-generation Kyoryugers, Ramirez is forced to turn to them for help when Ankydon falls under the influence of Debo Wilson. However, with Amy's help, Ramirez's bond with Ankydon is restored as he leaves Japan to find the remaining Zyudenryu. After Ramirez transforms into Kyoryu Cyan by holding up the Ankydon Zyudenchi with the activation call of "Spirit Ranger, Fire!" (スピリットレンジャー、ファイヤー! Supiritto Renjā, Faiyā!), he announces himself as the "Steel Brave" (鋼の勇者 Hagane no Yūsha).
